Since I was a teenager, I have wanted a Cadillac from one of the three years between 1959 - 1961. They are rare and typically when I see one, I get butterflies, but seeing this one rusting in this junkyard made me sad. I knew the only thing I could do would be to take photographs, so I did.

Photo: "Pre-Eclipse Night Wars"
Last September, on the night of the solar eclipse, I was shooting down in a SoCal desert junkyard with some friends.
The clouds covered the moon right as the eclipse was happening, so I turned the camera towards the very dark Western sky and took this image while using a Streamlight Stinger flashlight.

Another awesome car, sitting lonely in a Mojave Desert junkyard.

It's always such a challenge to explore an entire junkyard and try to capture the most interesting and appealing elements.
Seeing how ice cream is one of my favorite things in life, there was no doubt I was going to stop to shoot this truck last night.
